Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for four (4) Business Analyst roles to work within our client as part of a delivery squad.

We need highly motivated, experienced Business Analysts to help drive outcomes. The successful candidates will be pivotal to the success of delivering an enterprise business readiness program of work across the department. The role will be working within a functional delivery squad in a matrix-style structure and liaising across all levels of the organisations and be working closely with Business Leads, Architects, Change Managers and business SME's and technical specialists to achieve the desired outcomes of the program. Competencies & Skill Level:

  • Demonstrated strong practical experience in business analysis and the experience is aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) standard version 3.0 and the AGILE Extension to the BABOK Guide version 2.0.
  • Broad experience in large scale business and digital transformation or Enterprise and Resource Planning (Portfolio and Project Management and/or Asset Management) projects within the Local/State/Federal Government or within a large corporate environment.
  • Experience in business process modelling and use of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standard.
  • Strong knowledge of business process management in a large, diverse and complex organisation.
  • Effective communicator with customer-centric approach, and highly developed interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, consult, coordinate and deliver substantial business analysis and solution conceptualisation.
  • Superior written communication skills and demonstrated extensive experience in preparing high-quality business analysis artefacts such as process maps and models, business rules, requirements, gap analysis, etc using MS Office suite and Visio.
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to apply that knowledge and experience to the areas of process analysis, data analysis, cost benefits analysis and business systems analysis, in order to identify both opportunities for improved services and creative solutions to support business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated high level ability to establish and grow collaborative relationships (building trust and providing reliability), with staff from varying technical disciplines, and with customers, suppliers, project managers and stakeholders to support awareness of process excellence and the co-design value streams and processes.

Desirable:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience in using Blueworks, Signavio and MS Visio.
  • ERP domain for Project Management and Asset Management and associated systems background would be an advantage.
