About the role
Our client is seeking 2x highly skilled Business Analysts and 2x System Analysts/Technical Business Analysts to contribute in a project to migrate disparate data repositories into a centralised data platform. You will have an understanding of networks, databases and other technology, in particular an advantage to be familiar with data analytics, business intelligence, data warehouse, ETL tools.
Skills and Experience
Business Analyst:
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to reverse engineer process specifications from existing operational systems
- Documenting and translating customer business functions and processes
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
- Participating in functionality testing and user acceptance testing of the new system during requirements gathering, design, build, testing, training and deployment phases
- Assisting technically in training and coaching professional and technical staff
- Providing work direction to the developers and other project stakeholders
- Capturing and tracking stakeholder matrix
Systems Analyst/ Technical Business Analyst:
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Advanced technical skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Designing new computer systems and frameworks
- Warranting the system design is perfect as per the needs to ABARES
- Providing work direction to the developers and other project stakeholders
- Capturing and tracking stakeholder matrix
You must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a baseline clearance.
