Job description

Paxus are partnering with a large professional services organisation who are currently undertaking a significant transformation program that is focused on uplifting the technology they use to deliver their services and manage their operations. As part of this program an opportunity for a Project Manager to join their Learning and Development team has become available.

Role/Responsibilities

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a new training and assessment framework that will function as a core tool in the organisation's personal development pathways. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of the project/s in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, to deliver high quality outcomes.
  • Manage work outcomes in line with expectations and within scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Accurately determine, assign, track and manage project task, activity, documentation in line with internal standards
  • Develop and communicate realistic plans for the effective delivery of the work.
  • Manage resource capacity planning and allocation.
  • Create and / or support the development of project management materials e.g. business cases, project plan, risk/issues registers and any others, as required

Skills/Experience

  • Demonstrated senior project management experience within a matrix organisational environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and work within ambiguity and an environment of constant change
  • Previous experience working in business process improvement, capability uplift and/or Learning and Development environments would be highly regarded.
  • High level of understanding of the Professional Standards Framework will be highly regarded
