Business Analyst - Cloud Program

Location: Canberra, ACT

About Our Client:

Our client is seeking highly skilled Business Analysts to join their dynamic team in Canberra. As part of the Cloud Program, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of transformative cloud capabilities to the National Intelligence Community (NIC).

Role Overview: As a Business Analyst within the Cloud Program, you will work closely with stakeholders from various agencies and commercial partners to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of cloud projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and organise requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and end-users.
  • Analyse business needs, organisational processes, risks, and solution options.
  • Support the planning, analysis, and execution of work packages under project leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Drive innovation and enhance capabilities through problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Formal project management/business analysis qualifications or training (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, BABOK) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a relevant role.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and/or government projects preferred.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to deliver high-quality results independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.

Additional Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship with a current Negative Vetting (NV1) security clearance or willingness to undergo the clearance process.
  • Ability to work 5 days per week, up to 40 hours per week, in Canberra with minimal travel.
