Data Engineer

Working for this retail corporation you will be positioned within their Data Analytics and Engineering team. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge generative AI models and sophisticated machine learning algorithms. As a Senior Data Engineer you will be optimising AI models and solving complex problems.

Essential Requirements:

Model Development:

• Design, develop, and implement generative AI models and machine learning algorithms to address various business needs.
• Work with advanced techniques such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), and transformer-based models

Data Handling:

• Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to train and validate AI models.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows to support model development and deployment.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML, and apply new techniques and technologies to improve existing systems and processes.
• Conduct experiments and research to explore novel approaches and solutions in generative AI.

Model Optimization:

• Tune and optimize AI and ML models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Implement best practices for model evaluation, including metrics, validation techniques, and testing protocols.

• Monitor model performance and update or retrain models as necessary to maintain effectiveness.

Desirable Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing and deploying generative AI models and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries
• Experience with generative models such as GANs, VAEs, or transformers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex and ambiguous problems.
