Job description

Paxus is seeking an experienced Document Controller for a 6-12 month contract with our esteemed client in Adelaide. If you possess the skills and experience to manage documentation processes efficiently and effectively, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete scheduled tasks promptly, prioritising work appropriately to meet deadlines.
  • Apply expertise to ensure departmental targets are consistently met.
  • Foster teamwork, ensuring all members work towards the project's best interest.
  • Build and maintain relationships across departments to address and resolve issues effectively.
  • Promote ongoing improvements in work practices and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Line Manager for effective workload management, forecasting, and progress reporting.
  • Provide feedback to the Line Manager for accurate performance reviews and KPI monitoring.
  • Work with ESPs, Project Engineers, and Production & Maintenance personnel to ensure efficient design processes.
  • Encourage the use of Change Management procedures to formalise Blueprint changes.
  • Ensure adherence to the Blueprint Review process and maintain project standards.
  • Capture, register, and maintain all design data according to project standards.
  • Ensure observance of Intellectual Property requirements and protect vendor information.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in document control using Aconex.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of change management procedures.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property requirements.
