Group General Manager - Education & Core Services
Executive Leadership | SaaS Product & P&L Ownership | Brisbane Based
Fixed Base Salary + Executive Bonus & Share Incentives
This is a key role in a high-growth, major ASX-listed SaaS business. As Group General Manager, you'll lead the Education & Core Services product group. This is a nationally distributed team of ~90, including product managers, architects, engineers, delivery and support leads.
This is a strategic and commercial role for a product-focused executive who thrives at scale. You'll be responsible for roadmap execution, customer outcomes, P&L delivery, and cross-functional leadership. Reporting to the CTO, you'll be a core voice in business-wide technology and product strategy.
Relocation to Brisbane is essential. While the search is national, this is not a remote role. Leadership presence, proximity to peers, and contribution to culture are key expectations of the executive team.
Key Duties:
Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across the full SaaS lifecycle
Drive product performance, roadmap execution and customer outcomes
Own financial targets including full group products P&L, growth and profitability
Provide strategic input into technology, platform and product direction
Partner closely with architecture, delivery, support, and GTM leaders
Influence senior stakeholders with clarity, credibility and commercial insight
About You:
Strong technical background in software engineering, architecture, or ERP product leadership
Proven senior leadership experience within a medium ASX-listed or equivalent company
Track record of successful transformational leadership and influencing stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated SaaS product ownership with full P&L accountability
Experience leading large, geographically dispersed technical teams
Ability to navigate complex, structured environments with multiple layers of approval
High emotional intelligence, resilience, and commercial acumen
