About the Role:
A leading global mining company is looking for an experienced IVMS Analyst & Training Coordinator to support the rollout of a safety-critical vehicle monitoring system. This role is ideal for someone with experience in safety-related or fleet technology projects, who also brings strong coordination and training skills.
You'll play a key part in configuring Geotab's global IVMS (In-Vehicle Monitoring System) software-focusing on building out key system structures-and ensuring all supervisors are trained and ready to use the system effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
🔧 IVMS System Configuration
Set up and configure the vehicle hierarchy for each site (e.g., categorising by type, team, and function).
Build supervisor workflows in the system, linking alerts to distribution lists based on the org structure.
Enable supervisors to select the alerts they want to receive.
📅 Training Program Coordination
Manage the IVMS Supervisor Training Program across shifts and departments.
Liaise with external vendors to schedule sessions and confirm attendance.
Ensure a "Train-the-Trainer" model is in place for each location.
📝 Documentation & Reporting
Track training participation and progress using attendance records.
Monitor outcomes and collect feedback.
Provide weekly updates to the project team.
🕐 Coverage Across All Shifts
Ensure morning, afternoon, and night shifts are fully supported.
Adjust training plans for shift changes or emergencies.
Keep training materials up to date and coordinate updates with the vendor.
💬 Communication & Support
Be the go-to person for all IVMS training queries.
Support site reps, supervisors, and superintendents to ensure system adoption.
- Work alongside seasoned Business Analyst, and be the go-to person for all IVMS training queries.
What We're Looking For:
Experience with IVMS, fleet management, or safety systems.
Strong training coordination and scheduling skills.
Confident working with cross-site teams and third-party vendors.
Great communicator who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
