Job description
Our Public Sector client is searching for an experienced Network Engineer/Architect to join a dynamic solutions team, who are focused on delivering the best possible enterprise-wide network technology. You will bring your experience in the design of end-to-end systems and complex network architectures and work with a diverse set of internal/external stakeholders.
Your role:
You would be part of the Cloud Services business unit to provide support for a number of projects that will entail modernisation of core network infrastructure, operations and security model, support for SD WAN use, maintaining cloud networking designs, review of proposals for Architecture Review Group and other governance processes, analysis and design for policies, standards and guidelines etc
Your experience:
- Strong understanding of Cloud Security and how to ensure Security/Zero Trust is built into Cloud Migration of on-premises infrastructure (hardware and virtual) to other on-premises or cloud hosting arrangements.
- Develop, maintain, and establish cloud network technologies around SD-WAN, MPLS, and public Internet technologies
- Data centre network analysis, design and implementation planning and support
- Software-Defined local area Network and Wide-Area-Network (SDN and SD WAN) analysis, design implementation planning and support
- SD WAN, Cloud Firewalls, Palo-Alto Firewalls, Azure Networking
- Networking hardware refresh projects
