Essential
- Background as an Oracle Developer / Oracle Data Engineer
- Strong proficiency in Oracle database technologies, SQL, PL/SQL, and experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Developer, with a solid track record of developing, optimizing, and managing complex Oracle database systems, including extensive experience with database migrations, performance tuning, and implementing advanced features of Oracle 11g and 19c
- Cloud Technologies Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI and Azure Platform). Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing, ETL, and analytics services is highly desirable.
- Data Modelling Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and experience designing and implementing relational and dimensional data models.
- Analytical Skills Ability to analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Must be able to provide efficient and scalable solutions to meet business needs.
- Communication Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Federal Government ICT
- Oracle Database and Tools Experience
- Oracle certifications and training in Oracle technologies, cloud platforms, and data engineering are highly desirable.
- Development proficiency in Oracle and Azure databases and related tools, with a preference for experience in cloud-based solutions.
- Your expertise in Oracle and some knowledge of Azure will be an asset in our data transformation initiatives.
- SAFe and/or Agile Experience/Exposure - Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other agile methodologies is a plus. Experience or exposure to agile practices will help streamline program delivery
