Job description

As the Principal Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a transformative project. This project is focused on enhancing our document and customer management capabilities to meet the ever-evolving needs of our organization. You will lead the project team and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the efficient scoping, development, and implementation of the new system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the project from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Scope Management: Define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure they align with business needs.
  • Development Oversight: Manage the development of the new document and customer management system, utilizing the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Migration Planning: Develop a comprehensive strategy for migrating and transitioning data from the existing software to the new system.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and address concerns.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Resource Management: Oversee project resources, including a team of developers and other professionals, to achieve project milestones.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the system meets high standards of performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, overseeing the development and implementation of complex software systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in scoping, development, and implementation of document and customer management systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of data migration and transition processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Familiarity with the latest technologies and trends in document and customer management.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
