Job description

Join a major Qld government department and play a crucial role in the migration of a unsupported ECC6 environment to a S/4 HANA cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver multiple work packages within the Project in accordance with Agile Principles;
  • Adapt to customer needs to ensure that the deliverables are of the highest quality given fixed time and budget constraints;
  • Plan and coordinate the Project activities and resources to deliver the required outcome within the project budget and timeframe.
  • Incorporate advanced design thinking practises to meet future outcomes;
  • Ensure the timely completion of key Project artefacts;
  • Ensure appropriate project governance and assurance activities are in place throughout;
  • Oversee and collaborate with a cross functional team from the preferred vendor, organisation change management team and internal resources with differing accountabilities;
  • Oversee the implementation of a comprehensive Change Management and communications strategy and plan;
  • Provide effective management of risks, issues, conflicts, change requests and priorities;
  • Oversee the development and maintenance the project schedules;
  • Provide direction and support for the project team;
  • Effectively communicate the progress of the project to all stakeholders; and

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience implementing cloud-based SAP S/4HANA projects within a large and complex environment
  • Managing vendors and external stakeholders to ensure the project outcome is achieved.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a multi-skilled project team
  • Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal
