Road Worker - Tamworth, Armidale & Glen Innes (Live-in Rosters)

Do you enjoy working outdoors and contributing to essential infrastructure projects? Are you looking for a physically demanding role with the opportunity to learn new skills? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

We are seeking highly motivated and reliable Road Workers to join our construction crews in Tamworth, Armidale, and Glen Innes. In this role, you'll play a vital role in building and maintaining safe and reliable roads across regional NSW.

What you'll do:

  • Perform a variety of tasks related to road construction and maintenance, such as:
  • Excavating and laying asphalt, gravel, and other road surfaces
  • Installing kerbs, drainage systems, and signage
  • Operating small machinery (training provided)
  • Maintaining traffic control measures
  • Cleaning and maintaining work sites.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project deadlines.

What you'll bring:

  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent physical fitness and stamina
  • A valid driver's license (Truck license and plant operator experience desirable)
  • Experience in construction or a related field (desirable)
  • Experience working in traffic control (desirable)

Please note: This role requires the ability to travel and work away from home for extended periods. Rosters will vary depending on the project location.
