Job description

Join a leading Qld Government Department as they embark on a major SAP S/4 HANA implementation. Located in Brisbane CBD, this role will be offered on an initial 12 month contract.

In this role, you will play a critical role in managing the SAP Platform, including releases and configurations and migration of SAP Projects, and Security.

Skills for success include:

  • Demonstrated experience in Release management of SAP ECC and or S/4 HANA business suite and other SaaS applications.
  • Strong environment management and demonstrated substantial experience in developing and managing environment management and software release processes in a diverse and complex SAP environment.
  • Strong experience in SAP software release management and environments management in a diverse and complex SAP environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and continually improve ICT management processes, tools and services to achieve organisational outcomes.
  • Demonstrable experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service delivery models.
  • Demonstrated significant experience working with SAP application outsourcing vendors within a medium to large ICT support organisation.
  • Proven ability to prepare effective and logical documentation, develop reports, analyse or interpret outputs and initiate or recommend appropriate action.
  • Strong communication, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills and experience dealing with senior business stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to co-ordinate complex workflows while communicating complex technical matters to technical and non-technical audiences.
