Job description

Our client is undergoing a large SAP Implementation, and as such we require a Project Manager to join the team and will oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of SAP projects within the department's ERP EAM Program (Program). They will possess strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of SAP systems, and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Position requirements include:

  • Project Leadership - Lead and manage the execution of SAP projects through the full lifecycle, project planning, tracking, and oversight to ensure project(s) are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Delivery - Plan, organise, manage and deliver all project phases to ensure on-time, on-budget and within scope completion including initiation, planning, design, execution, testing, transition, monitoring and closure.
  • Planning - Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including delivery partners, solution architects, program / project managers, and business stakeholders, to support the successful delivery of SAP projects.
  • Reporting & Financial Management - Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and provide regular updates to on project status and financial performance to key stakeholders through regular reporting.
  • Risk and Dependency Management - Identify and mitigate project risks, identify and manage key dependencies, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success.
  • Compliance - Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, SAP best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement - Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the project team
