Leading Insurance Organisation has a key role within their Commercial Insurance team. You will be supporting better decision-making, through defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to the business Working as part of the core project group, you will be collaborating with a diverse team of SME's and Project professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global iconic insurance organisation, which is transforming through an exciting time of change and growth.

Primary tasks will include end to end business analysis, from discovery through to workshops through to implementation.

As part of this role, you will be expected to fulfil the following duties:

  • Define and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Define and document as is and to be business processes.
  • Identify organisational challenges and opportunities through consultation with business representatives.
  • Facilitate effective workshops and understand stakeholders work environment and their needs versus wants.
  • Collaborate with project team members to define solutions to address stakeholder needs.
  • Perform decision and gap analysis between solutions and the stakeholder need.
  • Produce user stories, story maps, process and data models.
  • Assist with risks, issues and project change management.

To be successful for the role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • Industry background, ideally Insurance or broader Fin Services
  • Strong Visio and associated tools experience (Confluence/JIRA etc.)
  • Excellent stakeholder skills - facilitate workshops, extract requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Open to candidates in Sydney or Melbourne
