Senior Data Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will provide technical leadership in building a cutting-edge data capability, ensuring seamless data ingestion, automation, and reporting. You will collaborate across teams to implement a hub-and-spoke data architecture, leveraging modern cloud technologies like AWS and Azure, and delivering exceptional data visualizations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver automation for investment reporting.
  • Implement test-driven design and integrate DevSecOps principles into data pipelines.
  • Drive the adoption of innovative data wrangling techniques using Python, R, and SQL.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.


Your Profile:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience with AWS tools such as Lambda, Glue, Athena, and Redshift.
  • Knowledge of investment data platforms like Bloomberg, Markit, or Golden Source.
  • Expertise in data governance frameworks (e.g., DMBOK) is a plus.
  • Proven track record in managing enterprise-wide data initiatives and delivering high-quality solutions in complex environments.
