Job description

We are seeking a Project Support Officer with experience working within a PMO (Project Management Office) environment to join our clients team. If you are a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a passion for supporting project success, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Support Officer, you will be a vital part of the Project Management team, responsible for various tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient execution of the project portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Compile and maintain the monthly project portfolio dashboard, tracking the status of active projects, key risks, opportunities, and financial performance.
  • Work closely with project delivery leads to gather and consolidate project status updates, ensuring the dashboard accurately reflects the current state of projects.
  • Manage and update portfolio risk registers, maintaining a comprehensive record of risks associated with various projects.
  • Schedule and conduct regular reviews of the risk registers to identify and assess emerging risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project delivery leads to provide support in project management and procurement activities.
  • Assist in coordinating project schedules, resource allocation, and procurement requirements to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating project management artefacts, templates, and documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the PMO team, ensuring all project-related documentation is organised and up to date.

Experience/qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2).
  • Experience in the use of a project scheduling tool/s
  • Experience working across multiple Information Technology projects.
  • Experience in the health care sector is desirable
