Senior Systems Analyst Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst Programmer. for our client The primary responsibility of the role is to lead the design, development and enhancement of innovative digital projects throughout the software development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of digital projects.
  • Analyse project requirements, define scope, goals, and deliverables, and determine resource requirements.
  • Design technical solutions, develop implementation plans, and document project management processes.
  • Lead project development and implementation, deploy server operating systems, identify improvement opportunities, develop well-structured code, and monitor project progress.
  • Ensure developed solutions meet technical standards and quality measures through analytical support and testing.
  • Provide ongoing support for applications and enact continuous improvement in security, user interface design, and accessibility.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in leading the design and development of complex data-driven web applications.
  • Extensive experience with Linux administration, Ansible, PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Git, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability in requirement gathering, documenting solution specifications, and writing functional requirements.
  • Experience in project scoping, planning, and management, with excellent team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Recent experience with Laravel, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Vue.js, Atlassian products, Python, and geospatial data.
  • Experience implementing and consuming APIs and web services.
