Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented SQL Developer with experience in the Utilities/Energy industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL database development, with a focus on creating efficient solutions. Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices is essential, and familiarity with .Net is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and related applications for the Utilities/Energy industry.
  • Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Implement CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in SQL development and Utilities/Energy technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a SQL Developer in the Utilities/Energy industry.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL database development, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Knowledge of .Net framework and C# programming language is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
