Job description
Our Government client is seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to drive digital delivery using agile and human centred design practices for a 12 month contract + extensions.
You will use your agile expertise to to grow a team of solution developers, user experience (UX) designers and subject matter experts.
Locations: Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne
Responsilbities
- Work with the team to plan, deliver and monitor regular releases of the product
- Work with team and stakeholders to proactively remove impediments to progress
- Monitor and drive continuous improvement in the team
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies with the team and across other product teams
- Facilitate agile events including daily stand ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
- Guide, mentor and develop the team to improve agile, digital and human-centred design capabilities
Requirements
- At least 4 years' experience in agile delivery management
- Proven ability to work with a multidisciplinary team to plan and manage regular product releases, enhancements and iterations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with stakeholders to proactively remove impediments to progress
- Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement in agile teams
- Exceptional organisation, communication and facilitation skills
- Government experience is highly desirable
- Australian Citizenship Required
