DOMAIN ARCHITECT - SAP AND DIGITAL UPLIFT
THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Domain Architect to join a large-scale digital uplift and ERP enhancement program. This initial 12-month contract role will see you lead architecture alignment across multiple platforms, with a particular focus on SAP ECC and S/4HANA readiness.
As the Domain Architect, you will provide strategic oversight, ensure architectural integrity, and influence decisions that shape enterprise platforms and their integration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain a clear domain strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and platform direction
- Provide architectural assurance and oversight across SAP and associated peripheral systems
- Lead architecture design and governance for major system changes, including cloud migrations and platform enhancements
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Platform Owners, and Solution Architects to ensure cross-platform consistency
- Support solution alignment for SAP upgrades, integrations, and roadmap initiatives
- Facilitate and lead architecture forums, governance reviews, and strategic planning sessions
- Maintain a structured repository of reusable models, artefacts, and domain knowledge
REQUIRED
- Proven experience as a Domain or Enterprise Architect in a complex ICT environment
- Deep technical knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and integrated enterprise platforms
- Strong ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and influence across business and IT
- Experience leading architecture assurance and governance in large programs of work
- Demonstrated ability to create domain-wide solution roadmaps and contribute to platform strategy
- Familiarity with public sector environments or enterprise-scale digital programs is highly desirable
