Key Responsibilities:
- DevOps in Akamai DNS, CDN, and WAF
- Development and optimization of Akamai CDN setups
- API development for fast purge, user admin, and more
- Security incident management and content clearing
- Collaboration with SOC and application teams for seamless operations
- Weekly reporting and strategic planning with the Service Delivery team
Ideal Candidate Skills:
- Proven experience with Akamai DNS, CDN, WAF, and SSL certificate management
- Hands-on knowledge of load balancing, traffic prioritization, and web performance improvements
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Eclipse, Putty, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
- Basic networking knowledge, experience with Nginx, Apache, and reverse proxy configurations
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google
- Basic understanding of network layers, protocols, and firewall management
