About the role
Application Specialist is a highly specialised role responsible for supporting their internal BAU requirements and contributing and providing value to a suite of projects and the role requires who remains hands on and is active with problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Strong experience as an Application Specialist.
- Any exposure to applications in control systems, real-time systems, distribution, outage management, systems, etc.
- Critical thinking, complex problem-solving skills and can grasp integrated solution concepts.
- Scripting skills with either Perl, Bash or PowerShell are beneficial.
- GE PowerOn Suite is advantageous but not required.
- Any exposure/familiarity with Security concepts (IDAM/PAM) or tools including Splunk, CarbonBlack, FireEye etc.
