Are you a Business Analyst with experience in Investments, AML/CTF, growth initiatives or business case development? If the answer is yes, this large Financial Services organisation is looking for you...

There are 4 projects, each requiring a strong Business Analyst with the requisite experience:

  1. Investment / Investment Operations
  2. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Counter Terrorism Funding (CTF) - Regulatory Data Reporting
  3. Coporate Accounts Growth Initiatives
  4. Business Case development, Superannuation knowledge required

This role can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney or fully remote (within Australia). Preference is for Brisbane where the business users sit, however as long as you are committed to video conferencing, the role can be done remotely. They are open to part-time 8/9 days a fortnight and are also flexible on working hours as long as there is some cross over with the business users.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Identifying and quantifying opportunities and problems through intelligent analysis of the business environment
  • Transition and ongoing acceptance of new solutions to ensure that the value is extracted and realised
  • Anticipating and continually assessing risks and issues in terms of strategic business impacts
  • Managing relationships across business units
  • Conduct detailed current state and future state process analysis
  • Plan, elicit, prioritise and manage business requirements
  • Work with Agile delivery teams to translate requirements into user stories
  • Coordinate and participate in the estimations process
  • Conduct benefits analysis including the preparation and update of benefit maps
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure solutions are successfully implemented and meet business requirements
  • Prepare options analysis using techniques such as business model canvas, IDEO circles

You should have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong Business Analysis experience in a non-technical role, ideally working within the Superannuation industry
  • Demonstrated experience working on projects in any of the following:
    • Investment / Investment Operations
    • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Counter Terrorism Funding (CTF) - Regulatory Data Reporting
    • Coporate Accounts Growth Initiatives
    • Business Case development, Superannuation knowledge required
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit stakeholder requirements and prepare analysis and visualisation models (e.g. BPMN, context models)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems to identify achievable recommendations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders and elicit outcomes for successful change
  • Proven organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage several activities within tight timeframes
