This is a flat hierarchy, that is part of a multi billion dollar company, with an authentic culture, where we come into the office on a Friday. We are in the logistics domain and have forty sites so are looking for an engineering minded person who can work across multiple MSP's.

Day to day you will be helping escalations when MSP's can't solve them, some troubleshooting, as well as other projects around uplifting, standardising, and securing.

  • Design, implement, and maintain the company's corporate systems, including servers, networks, security, and databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Perform system installations, configurations, upgrades, and patches to optimise performance and ensure system reliability.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime and provide timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical specifications.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring their efficient use of corporate systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to recommend system enhancements and improvements.

  • Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role, preferably in a large multi-location environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate system administration, including servers, networks, and databases.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and system monitoring.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and firewall configurations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, or Azure) and cloud-based services is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

If you are a self-driven professional with a passion for corporate system engineering, we would love to hear from you. Join our team and contribute to the success of our company by optimising our corporate systems and empowering our employees with reliable and efficient IT solutions.
