Candidates must be Melbourne based - Permanent Opportunity
Work as a Data Engineer with a renowned Global Consulting firm based out of Melbourne.
Responsibilities and Skills required:
- Azure Experience including compute, storage, networking, and security
- Must have experience with KUSTO Query Language
- Experience implementing scalable cloud-based environments and systems; service-oriented architectures and microservices; deploying resilient, scalable, high-throughput systems.
- Experience with deploying Infrastructure as Code using languages and tools such as Azure Bicep and Terraform.
- Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics PaaS & SaaS Services such as Databricks (Spark), HD Insight, Data Factory, Data Lake, Cosmos DB, SQL and DevOps or you have a similar technology stack expertise that can be transposed
- In addition, you have experience with data modelling/warehousing techniques and data integration
- Spark Streaming
- Experience in batch big data engineering skills including: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase
