- 12 months contract with likely extensions
- Must have Australian Citizen - Baseline clearance preferred
Our Client is a leading Consulting firm looking for a Database Administrator - Oracle/ SQL for one of their established Melbourne based projects.
Responsibilities and Skills required include:
- Experience 5 to 8 years in a similar role.
- You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Experience with sequential query language or the equivalent in one or more of the database platforms' native programming language(s). E.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL, Access SQL, Python, etc. will be good to have.
- Experience in file structures, design, retrieval, access methods, etc.
- Analyse on-premises database environments such as Oracle, SQL*Server.
- Install, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL software, implement monitoring and alerting, implement backup and recovery processes.
- Experience in PostgreSQL Database Administration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
