Job description

The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution and optimisation of the Performance Marketing programs. Ensure business targets are consistently met in terms of revenue and profit growth, return on ad spend as well as a number of other key business objectives.

Responsibilities.

  • Establish and develop a small team and ways of working across the wider business to ensure continued success and development of this important marketing channel.
  • Full responsibility for all day to day operations of the SEM channel - strategy, planning, forecasting, account structure, bid and campaign management, creative, tech, tracking, reporting, analysis and insights.
  • Develop a strategy and roadmap to ensure an innovative, efficient and effective approach at all times, testing and
    learning to ensure client is continually at the very forefront of all things SEM.
  • Reporting and analysis back to both the team and wider business as required, both ad‐hoc and through data
    visualisation tools
  • Forecasting results, managing budgets and developing a framework which meets multiple business KPIs
  • Lead a small team. Ensure the team are motivated continually learning and developing

Experience.

  • 5+ years' experience working within SEM, with demonstrable hands‐on experience of Google SA360 and Google Ads from an operational perspective. Agency experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Demonstrable experience with leading and implementing large scale retail / eCommerce SEM accounts.
  • Strong technical understanding and experience with different technology platforms relevant to SEM: Google Analytics and Google Merchant Centre are essential
  • Strong stakeholder management, both internally and externally - comfortable with communicating and navigating across a large and complex organisation.
  • Experience with automation and Google Ads scripts; preferred.
