Paxus is currently seeking a GIS Application Developer to join our client who is running a large-scale new project in Adelaide.
The primary focus of this 12-month contract revolves around the development of applications for the seamless integration of GIS/ESRI services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver GIS projects on time.
- Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for GIS applications.
- Implement geospatial algorithms and data processing workflows.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of GIS applications.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS trends and technologies to continuously improve our solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in GIS application development.
- Proficiency in GIS technologies, including ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as .Net, JavaScript, HTML/JavaScript solution using APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL database or Esri ArcGIS Server map services.
- Experience in AWS skills such as AWS Code Commit, AWS CodePipeline, AWS Lambda.
- Problem-solving abilities and a passion for creating user-centric GIS applications.
