Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced ICT Support Analyst to join their team. This is a 6 months contract with the ability to extend for another 6 months. The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
- 6 months contract with 6 month extension option.
- Australian citizens with the ability to Obtain Baseline Security clearance.
- Open for Canberra and Brisbane Candidates.
- Paxus pays weekly.
As an IT Support Analyst, you will be accountable for the IT Service Desk, User Support and Basic Administration for the Agency's Business Applications/Systems, End User Computing, and other related technology, under the broad direction of the Assistant Director - IT Support in the IT Services Branch.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Participate in coordinating the workflow of a small team and/or complex administration tasks
- Undertake procedural or clerical administrative support or operational tasks including research and analysis activities
- IT knowledge management within the Branch's scope and in support of whole agency needs.
- Make decisions within defined parameters relating to the area of responsibility that impact on the
- work area or specific function, but the impact on agency operations and resources is limited.
- Apply judgement, knowledge and limited discretion in interpreting and applying legislation,
- instructions, guidelines, and procedures.
- Identify issues and contribute to the resolution of issues and problems.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Demonstrated previous experience working within either IT Support, User Support or Customer Service.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and be accountable for completing tasks allocated and organising
- workflows.
- Experience using Azure, Entra ID and Active Directory
- Experience providing laptop. IOS and basic hardware support
