Join a small Government Agency and utilise skills in project support and service desk support. You will work in a collaborative enviornment with stakeholders across multiple projects and solve technical problems.
A current Baseline security clearance is required for this positions.
As a Technical Project Support Officer you will:
- Work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
- Build and maintain appropriate and effective business relationships with our service provider, project team and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a database of all IT equipment across all office locations
- Liaise with agency providers to keep track of IT equipment on hand vs ordered.
- Coordinate the distribution of IT equipment to all Agency staff including remote staff.
- Understand technical information and communicate it effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support the Project and Product Leads across the section with project planning, administration, reporting and deliverables.
Experience required:
- Experience in service desk support and/or incident management and has a broad understanding of all aspects of IT.
- Customer service focus with experience in customer-facing roles. Understand technical information and communicates effectively.
- Ability to work in a team environment, participate in project meetings and engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
- Experience supporting /coordinating ICT projects, ideally within a government agency.
