Melbourne based - 12 months contract with extensions - Must have Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance!
Work as an Infrastructure Engineer (Server Administration) with a leading consulting firm on one of their Melbourne based government sector projects.
Responsibilities include:
- As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components, and testing efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data center technology components.
- Identify and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts in data center operations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Responsible for all Application Workload Management and Control Functions to support the Client.
- Conduct Workload Management Functions per the client's requirements.
Must Have Skills
- RHEL / Linux Server Administration
Job Qualifications (Preferred Skills)
- RHEL / Unix Host Server Engineer
- Have worked on AWS and/Or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience in monitoring tools and technologies.
- Ability to quickly develop prototypes and proof of concepts.
