Job description

  • 6 month initial contract
  • Must have Australian Working rights
  • Must be able to be based onsite (Tues-Thurs) in Adelaide
  • IT vendor contract management and IT procurement specialist

As the Senior Contract Management Analyst you will leverage your expertise to advise on solutions to complex procurement and contract issues, with respect to Vendor Management delivery of the Integration program of work in the establishment of the organisation.

Working under broad direction and operating with an overall degree of autonomy, the Senior Contract Management Analyst is accountable for managing contracts and developing related contract documentation as well as identifying appropriate strategies to achieve contract outcomes, specifically within the IT & Digital Services portfolio. This role involves applying identified treatments to existing contracts, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations while consulting with a range of stakeholders and maintaining positive and effective working relationships.

Skills needed to be considered:

  • Demonstrated experience and a proven track record in Commercial Management, Quality Assurance or Vendor Leadership roles with an understanding of contracting models and the implications they have on financial management, vendor management, contracts and program management.
  • Proven experience in customer centric roles where innovative solutions were designed to enable higher levels of customer service.
  • A solid understanding of the Contract Management processes, principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, and capable of inspiring others, with a consultative and collaborative communication style to the delivery of high-level negotiations, influence and engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise a high degree of independent operation, strategic, problem solving and creative thinking, and a proven capacity to plan, prioritise and implement strategies for a large and complex organisation.
  • Experience in the management of ICT-specific vendors and contracts within a complex enterprise environment highly advantageous

Please note: An IT vendor contract management and IT procurement specialist is required for this role, not a Project Manager that has managed projects containing these elements
