Job description

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Knowledge Management Specialist to enhance our Clients internal processes. If you're dedicated to driving efficiency, fostering collaboration, and ensuring seamless knowledge transfer, we want to speak with you!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of knowledge management strategies with a specific focus on Service Transition for ICT Services.
  • Proactively identify and plan for new projects, products, and services, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Facilitate improved communication and collaboration between project teams and ICT support teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Establish and maintain a structured handover process to reduce risk and ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer between teams.
  • Drive efficiency by defining clear roles and responsibilities for each team involved in the transition process, optimising workflows, and eliminating redundancies.
  • Organise and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and training programs to equip support teams with the necessary skills and knowledge for successful service delivery.
  • Provide end-to-end support for users, ensuring timely resolution of issues, proactive communication, and continuous improvement to increase overall customer satisfaction.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in knowledge management, service transition, or related field, preferably in an ICT environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices, including ITIL framework.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies, processes, and tools.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable but not required.
  • Experience in the use of Artificial Intelligence is highly desirable.
