Melbourne based (Hybrid 3 days in office) - Must have Baseline Security Clearance!
Work as a Lead DevOps Engineer with a leading Consulting firm on one of their government sector projects based in Melbourne.
Responsibilities and Skills required include:
- As DevOps Lead SME/Architect, your roles will involve developing and implementing a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives, driving continuous improvement and innovation in software delivery pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management.
- Expertise with DevOps Tools (Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Ansible, jFrog Artifactory, Unit Testing frameworks, Selenium, ServiceNow, JMeter - or equivalent)
- Expertise and experience with Azure Devops to enable CI/CD for applications, i.e. pipelines for application build, package, deployment, test automation, code quality and security.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Grafana to track system performance, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, ISM controls and essential eight principles.
- Expertise in building standards and code patterns applicable across large-scale organizations.
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
