Role Outline

One of Australia's largest, and most beloved, retail companies is looking to add a Major Incident Manager to its leadership team. This is an integral role working with their 24/7 IT Support / major incidents team across two Western Sydney sites.

In this role, you will be involved in leading a team of industry-leading experts ensuring IT and mobile services run as uninterrupted as possible with maximum uptimes. You will manage your team making sure controls and best practice procedures are adhered to.

The key focus of the role will be to ensure that any major incidents are dealt with effectively and in the shortest time possible.

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in a Team Lead or Management level role
  • Proven experience in major incident management
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to reduce incident management times
  • Demonstrated experience in a large / enterprise environment
  • Diverse technology knowledge across all major technologies

The core technologies you will need to be skilled with include PC, Chromebook, iPhone, Android, MS Office and Google applications. Additionally, experience with CA Service Desk Manager, AppDynamics or Splunk would be highly regarded.

Please note you will be required for shift work across two sites in Western Sydney which will be on site.
