Candidates must be Melbourne based - 6 month contract with extensions!
Work as a Microservices Developer with a renowned Global Consulting firm based out of Melbourne.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java services.
- Follow our Software Development Life Cycle (based on SAFE methodology).
- Gaining a deep understanding of our technology stack, driving our strategic plans with the ability to raise questions where necessary.
- Supporting the deployment and progression of services from test environments through to production.
Skills required:
- Must have experience in Java (8+), Spring Boot, Postgres.
- Agile methodologies.
- Secure coding practices.
- Git and/or GitHub.
- Unit, component and integrated component testing and associated tooling.
- Collaboration and project management tools experience an advantage- especially Rally and Confluence.
- Cloud development experience and advantage (AWS, Azure).
