Are you an experienced Payroll Officer with strong Chris 21 skills, have a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy? If this sounds like you, this leading financial services organisation in Brisbane is seeking you to join their payroll team on an initial 6 month contract (potential extension).
Key Responsibilities:
- Process fortnightly payroll for all staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Manage salary variations, bonus payments, and ad hoc payroll tasks, including terminations and back pays.
- Ensure all payroll activities align with current regulations, including taxation, superannuation, and WorkCover.
- Maintain employee records, process new hires, promotions, and changes in employment status.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing payroll inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within an Enterprise environment (ideally financial services)
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (experience with Chris21 ideally).
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex calculations and high-volume environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
