Job description
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Program Analyst to support large-scale programs and projects by delivering vital financial and operational insights. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Project and Program Managers to track performance, drive accountability, and ensure delivery of outcomes. Your skills in budgeting, risk analysis, and schedule management will play a crucial role in supporting strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage program and project budgets, accurately tracking forecasts, actuals, and variances. Provide insights that enable informed financial decision-making and value optimisation.
Risk & Issue Analysis: Evaluate project risks and issues, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies and improving residual risk profiles across the portfolio.
Schedule Coordination: Maintain up-to-date project schedules, identify interdependencies, and support milestone achievement across multiple initiatives.
Procurement Coordination: Support procurement processes by managing purchase orders for both labour and non-labour resources, ensuring alignment with internal policies and risk mitigation standards.
Performance Reporting: Produce regular and ad hoc reports that offer clear visibility into financial performance, risk status, and project health to aid timely decision-making.
Continuous Improvement: Act as a critical friend to Project Managers, constructively challenging assumptions, identifying gaps, and recommending practical solutions to improve delivery effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate and support workshops, governance meetings, and project boards, ensuring accurate documentation and strong alignment across stakeholders.
