Job description

A major retail client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a critical enterprise transformation program involving the integration of a newly acquired business. This high-impact role will focus on driving alignment across systems, processes, and teams, ensuring a seamless transition into the broader enterprise ecosystem. With complex acquisition and integration work at its core, this opportunity requires someone who can operate with confidence, structure, and strategic vision.

You'll play a central role in identifying where the real opportunities lie-both in terms of operational efficiency and long-term business value. This is a diverse and entrepreneurial role, best suited to someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and is comfortable navigating ambiguity. You'll work across business and technology functions, ensuring change is delivered effectively and with a strong focus on people, systems, and sustainable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of integration and transformation initiatives
  • Develop and execute project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and risk management
  • Oversee the integration of systems, processes, and capabilities between the enterprise and newly acquired business
  • Facilitate workshops to define MVP, business requirements, and architectural alignment
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to align expectations and secure buy-in across all levels
  • Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and innovation
  • Provide structure and governance through regular reporting, steering committee updates, and documentation
  • Translate between business and technical teams to ensure clarity and delivery focus

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience delivering complex enterprise transformation or post-acquisition integration projects
  • Experience working in large, enterprise environments is essential
  • Retail, FMCG, or supply chain sector experience is highly advantageous
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional teams across business and IT domains
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and act on opportunities
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive-level interaction
  • Familiarity with SAP environments is beneficial
