Job description

  • 12 Month contract + high potential for extension
  • Day rate up to $720 per day depending on provided experience
  • Hybrid Working Environment- WFH/Office

One of Australia's respected government departments are looking for a project manager to help transfer different legacy platform tools after building a Salesforce platform.

What you'll do:

  • Become an Atlassian pro, using Jira and other tools to simplify project management processes.
  • Manage operations planning and change management for both major and minor releases of the platform.
  • Partner with Business Analysts to track progress, identify risks, and plan future work for Agile scrum teams.
  • Oversee projects, mitigating risks and escalating issues as needed.
  • Plan releases, structure epics and sprints, and assist with roadmap development.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to continuously improve scrum workflow.
  • Manage procurement and contracts.

To be successful, your CV must highlight much of the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • Expertise in the Atlassian Suite, especially Jira.
  • Experience working in Agile product development teams (user stories, epics, releases).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and interpersonal) for collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of operational planning and change management
  • A keen eye for detail and a willingness to dive into technical aspects.
  • Experience with complex IT projects (Experience with cloud-based solutions is beneficial)
  • An interest in how buildings function and their environmental impact.
  • Previous experience in the government sector is highly beneficial
