Your Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Analyst to join a cool tech group based in the CBD. As a skilled QA you will use your experience in Quality Assurance to ensure excellence of the applications. You will achieve this through planning, designing and executing test cases within each deployment cycle. You will be encouraged to seek out changes to processes, tools and practices, improving application delivery capability.

Day to day you will perform hands-on software quality assurance tasks, develop and execute test plans based on requirements, generate regression test plans, design and implement an automated testing ability.

The role will require:

  • The incumbent to be currently based in Adelaide with the ability to obtain a baseline clearance

  • The ability to pass a police check, working with childrens check

  • a strong commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work


Please Note: To obtain a baseline Clearance you must be an Australian Citizen

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the organisations technology products, including functionality, specifications and functional aspects to appropriately execute Test tasks.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of available Open Source resources & developer toolbars that may contribute to effecting testing techniques

  • Write and execute test scripts for software and systems to validate outcome expectations or proactively detect faults

  • Keep written records of defects and issues that are discovered during testing

  • Analyses of defects and issues to identify what is or may be root cause

  • Develop or recommend solutions to remediate any problems discovered during testing

  • Track the success of the solutions

  • Keep software and systems documentation up to date


Your Experience

  • Excellent communication skills coupled with confidence and clarity of thought

  • Experience of having worked within a fast paced environment

  • ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level certification - Desirable

  • Experience in a Linux environment - desirable

  • Experience with test automation development - desirable
