Senior Business Analyst - Regulatory & Conduct Uplift
📍 Location: Melbourne

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in regulatory and conduct uplift initiatives within a leading financial services organisation. This role involves working on ASIC/conduct-related regulatory changes, supporting governance frameworks, and engaging with senior stakeholders to drive compliance and risk management improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Regulatory Change & Compliance: Support the monitoring, delivery, and management of a consolidated plan to uplift regulatory conduct obligations across multiple workstreams.
🔹 Business & Risk Analysis: Identify, assess, and resolve complex regulatory, governance, and business issues.
🔹 Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on regulatory frameworks and compliance strategies.
🔹 Tracking & Reporting: Manage regulatory reporting, track issues via Excel spreadsheets/databases, and ensure compliance documentation is up to date.
🔹 Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance risk and compliance processes in line with evolving regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:

10+ years in financial services, including 5+ years as a Business Analyst with regulatory change experience (ASIC/conduct-related preferred).
✅ Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills in regulatory, governance, and business contexts.
✅ Prior experience in product management, management consulting, compliance, and risk domains.
✅ Well-developed business/commercial acumen with an ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
✅ Proficiency in Excel and database management for tracking regulatory and governance issues.
