Are you ready for a unique opportunity to make an impact in vendor management and quality assurance? Reporting to the Vendor Assurance Manager, this role offers the chance to collaborate on a large portfolio alongside an experienced and close-knit team. As a Senior Contracts Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing vendors over the supplier lifecycle, from inception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vendor audits and assessments to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.
- Monitor vendor performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate vendor documentation and records to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Manage contracted budgets and reconcile invoices and payments efficiently.
- Track escalated issues and conduct root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will need:
- A high-level understanding of vendor management, commercial management, quality assurance, and IT contracting models.
- Proficiency in financial management with a focus on vendor finance and budgeting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with creative thinking and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with a consultative and collaborative communication style.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating autonomy, strategic thinking, and effective prioritisation skills.
