Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Desktop Engineer to oversee and manage our desktop environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deploying Windows applications and drivers, managing task sequences, and utilizing Active Directory for Group Policy management. Essential Responsibilities:
- Create packages for deploying Windows applications in MECM/SCCM using PowerShell scripting.
- Package drivers for new device models in MECM/SCCM.
- Create, update, and troubleshoot task sequences for Windows images in MECM/SCCM.
- Utilize Active Directory to modify and update Group Policies for applying setting changes to Windows computers.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Senior experience in creating packages for macOS applications for deployment in JAMF using scripting languages such as Bash and AppleScript.
- Senior experience managing and troubleshooting application license managers and print services hosted on the Windows Server platform.
- At least 2 years of experience managing Virtual Desktop Environments hosted on the Citrix platform.
- 1-2 years of experience managing and deploying applications on RPM-based Linux distributions.
- 1-2 years of experience deploying and managing RPM-based Linux distributions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior desktop engineering role.
- Strong proficiency with MECM/SCCM and PowerShell scripting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
- Experience with JAMF, Citrix, and RPM-based Linux distributions is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
