Initial Contract until end of August 2024 with extensions likely - Northern Suburbs location!
Work as a Senior Environmental Waste Management Engineer with an established organisation based out of Northern suburbs in Melbourne.
Skills Required:
- A degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field or lesser formal qualification with substantial relevant experience.
- Knowledge and experience in environmental waste management including strategic planning, operations, compliance, contract and project management.
- Experience supervising employees, contractors or consultants in line with relevant Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.
- Knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and procedures and a proactive approach to safety.
- Demonstrated understanding of current best practice environmental and waste management principles and practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of Microsoft Office applications for spreadsheets and word documents (Excel and Word).
- Current drivers' licence.
