About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Designer to join our high-performing team. This role involves providing strategic direction for technology investments. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to understand the business context and collaborate with various stakeholders and teams. Responsibilities also include assisting in the development of enterprise architecture and maximizing the return on technology investments.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of emerging technologies with proven experience in developing customer-facing web applications to enhance customer and business outcomes.
- Strong experience in designing and preparing solutions for large and complex projects.
- Extensive experience in developing and enhancing enterprise Java applications with significant integration capabilities.
- Proven leadership in complex product integration projects involving multiple interfaces.
- Strong ability to build consensus across teams.
- Extensive Agile experience and a track record of leading Agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of application performance and capacity planning concerns.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Java-based technologies.
- At least 3 years of experience in developing APIs and Web Services, including both SOAP and REST, with a focus on security implementations.
- 3+ years of proficiency in using Hibernate, Spring framework, and SQL databases.
- Demonstrated experience with the DevOps framework and associated toolsets.
- Hands-on experience in developing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of test automation practices.
- Expert-level knowledge of design patterns.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in an AWS environment is nice to have.
- Experience in workflow automation using Business Process Management/Business Automation Workflow is nice to have.
- Knowledge of infrastructure or hosting platforms is an added advantage.
