About the role

As a Senior Workforce Analyst, you'll be responsible for Designing, overseeing, and executing workforce analysis projects, initiatives, and reports to deliver insights for management and these efforts support strategic planning, enhance human resource practices, and drive organizational development improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide workforce analytics and reports to executive and senior managers, enabling informed decision-making on workforce-related matters.
  • Analyze and interpret data, conduct research, and review internal and external workforce trends, identifying emerging issues and risks to organizational capability, and offering advice, explanations, and recommendations for appropriate actions and solutions.
  • Investigate and analyze data to identify errors and system issues, collaborating with relevant areas and external providers to implement corrective actions that continually improve data reliability and quality.
  • Develop and enhance workforce systems and analytics within the constraints of existing systems, statutory and government reporting requirements, and the capacities of outsourced service providers to meet organizational needs.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the business, its challenges, and objectives, and develop strong client and team relationships to ensure analytics effectively reflect needs and meet client requirements.
  • Monitor and review programs and their implementation, preparing internal and external reports, including the Workforce Profile, to inform management of performance and support decision-making related to workforce analysis.
  • Manage, coach, and assist in the development of team members to deliver high-quality, efficient, and compliant systems, information, and services.
  • Manage projects by developing plans and coordinating resources to deliver programs and initiatives that meet organizational workforce analysis needs.

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong experience in resource and workforce planning frameworks.
  • Background in radio and telecommunications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project and program management.
  • Proficiency with Altus Microsoft tool is a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience collaborating with enterprise PMO teams.
  • Government industry experience is desirable.
