Job description
Be part of a critical project for my client who are working with one of Australia's largest companies. The contract is for an initial period of 9 months but the project is huge so they expect there to be opportunities for much longer term engagements.
Initially everyone on the team will be working from home, once restrictions ease, the customer would like to bring the group together on site at least 2 days per week. This will be in Sydney CBD where the head office is, they also have an office in Melbourne so would be open to Melbourne based candidates also
In this role you will be:
Involved in the design, strategy and road mapping across the Data and Analytics platforms.
Providing technical consulting, advisory and action steps across multiple teams, project sponsors and internal stakeholders, to ensure solution design and adoption aligns to Data strategy, architecture, and utilisation of standardised IT service.
Identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution.
Designing and implementing data reconciliation solution, data quality controls, metadata and data lineage by using AbInitio data platform.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.
4+ years of experience Ab Initio with advance Ab Initio suite including GDE, EME (Metadata Hub), Continuous flow, ACE/BRE, Plans.
Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle. Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.
Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts.
Knowledge of large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
High degree of competency in Python, Java programming. CI / CD exposure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
